Powered by a 196cc/ 6.5hp economical single cycling Hyundai 4-Stroke engine, the HY2800L-2 is ideal for both home and commercial use. It has been designed for the most demanding jobs such as powering power tools, welders, compressors and garages. The single-cylinder 4-stroke OHV air-cooled engine generates a max power of 2.2kW, hence making it extremely reliable.
Weighing only 41kg, the generator has a rugged open frame. The Hyundai AVR alternator helps to maintain the voltage output smooth, within +/- 3% of 230V. This allows it to power sensitive equipment such as laptops, computers and mobile phone chargers. However, the AVR alternator is strong enough to power building site equipment and power tools.
It uses the latest low noise engine technology, hence producing only 65 dBA @ 7m. It is fitted with an easy recoil start system. The HY2800L-2 is also fitted with 2x 230v 13a sockets to end facing control panel, which helps minimise damage to sockets when wheeling the generator through doorways and narrow gaps. The HY2800L-2 is extremely user-friendly thanks to its low service and maintenance requirements. *kVA is based on an assumed load factor of 0.8.
